The Chairman of the Board and Scientific Director of KEPE, Prof.
Panagiotis Korliras participated in the Brussels Economic Forum on
"Rethinking Economic Policy in Europe - A New ERA of EU Economic
Governance".
The Forum was organized under the auspices of the European
Commission - DG ECFIN. Distinguished speakers at the conference
included the President of the European Commission Mr. José
Manuel Barroso, the European Commissioner for Economic and
Financial Affairs Mr. Olli Rehn, the German Finance Minister Mr.
Wolfgang Schäuble, and the OECD Secretary General Mr. Angel
Gurria.

The Centre of Planning and Economic Research (KEPE)
along with the 'Invest in Greece’ S.A. organized an event with
the participation of the 'Economic and Commercial Diplomats Club
of Athens'
(ECDC). The purpose of this event was to inform participants
about the latest developments in the Greek economy.
KEPE researchers presented the short and medium
term prospects of the Greek economy and analyzed the key
components of domestic demand and exports. 'Invest
in Greece’ S.A., emphasized
their work in supporting international investors with
high quality
services, as a means to facilitate new and expanding business
activities in Greece...

celebrate the 50 years since its foundation. The conference
was greeted by the Minister of Economics, Competitiveness and Shipping,
Professor Louka Katseli, the Vice-President of the
Government Mr. Theodore Pagalos (with a letter), and the Chairman of the
Board and Scientific Director of KEPE, Professor Panagiotis Korliras.
