Specifically, the marginally highest percentages of vulnerable children (\u03c7<\/span><sup style=\"letter-spacing: 0px;\">2<\/sup><sub style=\"letter-spacing: 0px;\">[12, N=3,046]<\/sub><span style=\"letter-spacing: 0px;\">\u00a0= 19.769,\u00a0<\/span><em style=\"letter-spacing: 0px;\">p\u00a0<\/em><span style=\"letter-spacing: 0px;\">=0.072) are found in the Region of Central Greece (8.56%), followed by the Regions of Attica, Thessaly, and the Ionian Islands. Economic child poverty, and by extension household economic poverty, in Greece is estimated at 9.2%, while non-economic child poverty is 12.5%.<\/span><\/p><p>\u00a0<\/p><p>In addition, considering the above-mentioned Index, household inequalities related to nutrition during the 2024\u20132025 period appear more severe in single-mother families with dependent children (36.3%; \u03c7<sup>2<\/sup><sub>[2, N=2,923]<\/sub>\u00a0= 51.119,\u00a0<em>p\u00a0<\/em>&lt; 0.001), in large families (41.1%; \u03c7<sup>2<\/sup><sub>[4, N=2,915]<\/sub>\u00a0= 18.128,\u00a0<em>p\u00a0<\/em>= 0.001), and in families with a migrant or refugee background with dependent children(33.6%; \u03c7<sup>2<\/sup><sub>[1, N=2,714]<\/sub>\u00a0= 47.951,\u00a0<em>p\u00a0<\/em>&lt; 0.001).
