Curriculum Vitae

Vassilis Lychnaras is a Senior Research Fellow at the Centre of Planning and Economic Research (KEPE), since 2009, in the field of Energy Economics specialized in RES. From 1999 to 2010, he worked as an external researcher at the Center for Renewable Energy Sources & Saving, as well as at the Agricultural University of Athens, in the field of Agricultural Economics and Economics of Bioenergy. Additionally, he has also been employed in the private sector as a Scientific Advisor on Bioenergy issues. He holds a PhD in Agricultural Economics, focused on Bioenergy and an MSc in International Economics and Finance. He has published a significant number of research papers and he has participated in a numerous research conferences. Additionally, he has been involved in a number of research projects relevant to his scientific field. His research field focuses on Energy Economics, Energy Policy, Renewable Energy Sources, Bioeconomy, Agricultural Economics & Policy, Planning and Economic Analysis.
