KEPE’s Scientific Director and Chairman of the Board of Directors, prof. Panagiotis Liargovas, presented to the Secretary General for Recovery and State Support, Petros Kampouris, and to the Rehabilitation and Reconstruction Coordinator for Evros, Georgios Kellis, KEPE’s fourth study on the local development of disaster-affected areas

The study focuses on how the new demographic reality is confronted in the reconstruction plan for the district of Evros. It was requested during the 6th Meeting of the Special Committee for the Reconstruction of the fire-stricken Evros district (September 2024) by the then Deputy Minister for Climate Crisis and Civil Protection, Christos Triantopoulos; and carried out and presented by our senior research fellow, Prodromos Prodromidis.
