INTERNSHIPS

KEPE invites senior or final year undergraduate economics students with high GPAs, as well as master’s level students to apply for internships, in order to develop their research skills and gain valuable practical experience (by working alongside its seasoned research staff) in data calibration, econometric analyses, and applied economics.

These internships are without financial compensation, take place in cooperation with students’ universities, at any point in time, and typically last three to six months. A good knowledge of spreadsheets is required, and a background in econometrics, as well as a familiarity with statistical software is particularly useful.

From 2004 on a good number of students from the Agricultural University of Athens, the Athens University of Economics and Business, Maynooth University, the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens, Panteion University, the Universita di Firenze, University College Dublin, the University of Glasgow, the University of Ioannina, the University of Kent, the University of Piraeus, and the University of the Peloponnese have carried out their internships at KEPE.
