Drawing on Presidential Decree No. 94 (Government Gazette 75) of March 10, 2000, KEPE grants an annual scholarship for the acquisition of postgraduate degree in economics on the basis of the applicant’s performance in a microeconomics, macroeconomics and econometrics exam. Each year’s examination date is announced in early spring.

However, the scholarship was discontinued in the wake of Greece’s sovereign debt crisis as per the country’s MoUs with its creditors.
