The event opened with welcoming remarks by Professor P. Liargovas, KEPE’s Scientific Director and Chairman of the Board of Directors.

In successive sessions, KEPE’s research staff, E. Tsouma, P. Prodromidis, I. Reziti, E.  Marsellou, A. Raftopoulou, A. Chymis and F. Economou (in topical order) presented the rationale, methods, and findings of their recent research, and answered students’ questions; while KEPE interns, A. Georgakopoulou and I. Nousias, presented their research results and reported on their internship experiences at KEPE. Time was also devoted to a discussion on how economic research is conducted.

The event as attended by over a hundred students from the Athens University of Economics and Business, Harokopio University, International Hellenic University, National and Kapodistrian University of Athens, Panteion University, the Universities of West Attica, Thessaly, Ioannina, Crete, Cyprus, Patras, Peloponnese, the Open Universities of Greece and Cyprus and the London School of Economics.
