KEPE REFORMS OBSERVATORY BULLETIN No 1/2025: REFORMS FOR INDUSTRIAL DEVELOPMENT (IN GREEK)
In the case of Greece, industrial development is particularly important, as, together with its multifaceted, catalytic role in economic growth, it also represents a key component of the effort to achieve a deeper, structural transformation of the country’s productive base.
While the contribution of the manufacturing industry to the Greek economy’s output, employment and exports has improved significantly, the country still lags far behind the corresponding EU average. Therefore, convergence requires rapid growth of the Greek industrial sector in the coming years, based on the effective implementation of the actions included in the National Industrial Strategy and supported by the continuous adaptation of interventions to the current circumstances and challenges.
